Warning!!!!Stay somewhere else. You need "codes" to enter the building, elevator and room. BUT THE CODES DONT ALWAYS WORK. We were locked out OF THE BUILDING IN THE RAIN with other travelers AT 11pm. There is no front desk and No one to call. You have no choice but to walk to another hotel and get a new room. DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU ARE ⚠️

Disappointing and not cleaned

We arrived tired from travelling over 12 hours from Ireland to find an EXTREMLEY dirty apartment. We phoned and it took a while to rectify. There were also broken items and unfinished ceilings in the rooms - I have attached pictures. After ringing and trying to sort out, the cleaning “team” were sent up to clean the room which was one girl with a cloth. She did clean but we had to go over it ourselves. Bar that the apartment was just ok - it looked nothing like the pictures on the website so be very careful. The keyless entry is confusing also. There was also a leak while we were there and this stalled is getting ready for a friends wedding in Montreal The service wasn’t much better and we were refused compensation as apparently we “enjoyed” our stay - that’s not true we had no other option It is a good location and with a bit of care and some customer service skills this could be a really good place - it’s a shame how it’s is run would not recommend and there are definitely better places in Montreal to stay

Sold as 4*, 3* on the door. Noisy renovations.

This booking through AMEX was advertised as 4*, on arrival, we found ourselves without adequate instructions to enter the building and a 3* sign on the door of an old concrete block of flats, reminiscent of social housing in the UK. A few phone calls, internet forms on phones and a $300 deposit later and we had a code. We swallowed and found a reasonably pleasant apartment that had low cost furniture and a fit out for photography rather than a hard wearing apart-hotel - for example those snazzy floors are just some epoxy that's been flowed over the concrete. The mattress was hard and cheap, the sofa a bit design flawed and unstable, the concrete ceiling, unpainted and stained (looks feature in the photo's, but not really in person.) Boutique is not the word I would use. But at this point it was OKish and we were going to stay it out. Then at about 8 or so in the morning, we received hammer drills in stereo from the surrounding rooms, it was so loud, permeating through the concrete that we couldn't hear the TV, let alone sleep off an entertaining evening or the jet lag from the west coast. We contacted the provider, there is no front desk and we emailed them. We asked if the renovations were to continue, if so we would move on, we got a reply "what time did they start". We responded, and got no response. Then the renovations quietened down, we could hear each other speak again, and didn't have to shout. We emailed back and said thanks and again asked if the renovations were to continue. We got no response. Then the noise started again, so we moved out and went to the embassy suites. We phoned them and notified of checkout and were prepared to accept a refund for the remaining days. We were told to contact AMEX. We contacted AMEX and notified all in writing of our departure. It's over 2 weeks later and the hotel has been blocking the refund according to AMEX. Avoid these scammers.

Accessible, Clean and Spacious

I love to stay here. In total for 1.5 weeks in Sept 2019. What I like most about this hotel is the room is spacious. Is part of an apartment building. Near to everything - food of all cultures, supermarkets (yes plural not singular), shops, malls, cafes. If you have no idea what to eat, go back to your hotel area and find food there. There are lots of Halal eateries too. Is a busy area so if ever you came back to your hotel later than 10pm is still alright. Clean place that is the most important. Not noisy.

Liked · Brand new windows that work very well. Great location. VERY large room. Full kitchen. High end shower hardware. Really nice bedroom decor. Free wifi. Lots of channels. Netflix Ready. Utensils, cups, paper towel... Very well lit. Very secure rooms, and building. Very dorm feeling, but large rooms. A/C worked very well. Had a washer, dryer. Toaster. Fridge, Freezer, full stove. Disliked · Well, i was a bit disappointed that there was a significant amount of dust on the headboard. It seemed very strange to me that for such an important area, it seems completely neglected. So it was rather dusty for my spouse. They had a Dyson vacuum, but i couldn't figure out how to get it working properly. Their couch that is REALLY wide, didn't seem that well supported. So every time myself, or my spouse sat on it, it almost felt like it would flip. Bed was a bit too firm for my liking. Like...it was almost like sleeping on a padded ground.
